SPICYBEARS began with a single, handcrafted bear bag — created by Tasha Mika for herself while immersed in the creative energy of SuperMonkeys, a startup focused on movement intelligence across action sport and movement culture. Working across creatives — skaters, snowboarders, dancers, photographers, music artists — it blurred the line between performance, creativity, and culture. The kind of people who move differently. The bear wasn’t meant to launch anything. But people started asking. One Etsy listing turned into a few. Then a few more. It just kept growing. The right people kept showing up. We’ve made the bears on demand since day one. This hasn’t changed — just the size of the team keeps growing.We don’t follow a plan. We just keep building what makes sense to us.
